The Presidential Community Engagement Team, led by the Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (North West), Abdullahi Tanko Yakasabi, yesterday had the distinguished honor of briefing His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the State House, Abuja.

During the high-level meeting, Yakasabi and his team presented a comprehensive report detailing key activities, achievements, and outcomes from their engagements with communities across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. The presentation offered the Presidency a ground-level view of the administration’s grassroots impact under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

In a critical segment of the briefing, Yakasabi highlighted major challenges currently facing the North-West region, including the persistent crisis of out-of-school children, rising insecurity, deteriorating infrastructure, and declining social cohesion. These issues, he noted, require urgent and sustained federal intervention to prevent further destabilization of the region’s social and economic fabric.
